Music Festival Trip

Every other year, Hastings High School music groups (orchestra, concert band, jazz band, chorus, select chorus, sinfonia and steel pan ensembles) attend a three day competition at the World Strides Festival.  

Students, teachers and chaperones are bussed to the event (past years have been in Philidelphia, Boston and Washington DC) and perform in front of a panel of adjudicators and other festival participants.  

Outside of performance time, the groups explore the cities and attend local professional music performances together.

HHS has consisently received gold and silver awards for all of the performing groups.  (On display in the HS lobby!)
